Franz Romero

The Schweitzer architect and designer Franz Romero is a more unknown artists of the late 20th century. Although outside of Switzerland very little is known about his time in the experimental field of interior design, he came to fame especially through the "Bugatti" chair. Before he completed his apprenticeship in 1980, Romero completed internships with the known architecture studio Haefli Moser Steiger (HMS) and Pierre Zoelly Architecture. Six years later he founded his own company and worked on a number of commercial projects.
